The space:
Its walls of pristine, angular white and vast glass panes are softened by the tropical planting and the gentle curves of the 9m x 5m pool that wraps itself round the lower floor of the house.

Here in the garden, you can laze poolside; drop down a terrace to the sandy stretch of garden where you can chill in rustic day beds; or head up to the top terrace where the day beds have commanding views of the pine clad hillside and the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean.

The spacious interior and exterior living spaces of Villa Mieke are more generous than you might expect in a villa of this size.

Inside, at pool level, a large family living room with satellite TV and a real fire has the same clean white styling as the exterior spaces. The white theme continues throughout the property with high-end fittings and bright pops of colour.

On the first floor, the sleek modern kitchen opens on to a sun terrace with outside dining table, and a further interior dining space, seating eight.
