The space:
Nestled amidst lush tropical gardens, this house stands as a true oasis of tranquility and comfort. As you approach the property, you are greeted by a grand entrance adorned with colorful flowers and tall swaying palm trees, instantly setting the tone for a blissful escape. The exterior of the house, with its white walls and traditional thatched roof, showcases the authentic charm of Trancoso’s architecture.
Step inside, and be captivated by the spaciousness and elegance that awaits you. The interiors are beautifully designed, with a perfect blend of traditional elements and modern comforts. The living area boasts a cozy ambiance, complete with comfortable sofas, inviting armchairs, and large windows that allow abundant natural light to flood the space. The decor is tasteful, featuring local artwork and artisanal crafts, adding to the authentic atmosphere.
Guest access:
You will gain exclusive access to all rooms and floors, and to the entire property area, plus usage of the Condo common areas, following the rules and time availability provided.
The neighborhood:
Trancoso’s historic center, known as the Quadrado, is another highlight of the village. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a square surrounded by colorful colonial houses, with a grassy area in the center where locals and tourists gather to socialize and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. The Quadrado is home to a charming white church, which adds to the picturesque scenery. At night, the Quadrado comes alive with live music, dance performances, and vibrant street parties.
Getting Around:
Taxis and Ubers, apart from renting a car would be our recommended options. You can use the following local apps for cabs: 99 Taxis and Easy Taxi.
Interaction With Guests:
We like welcoming guests in person, leaving you as comfortable and independent as possible during your stay, while always being available when/if you need help or suggestions from us.
The most important House Rules are:
* Silence from 10pm til 7am
* Social visits are limited from 7am until 10pm and up to 2 people at the same time in the property
* Only listed guests can sleep over
* Intended use is residential only
* Drugs and prostitution are strictly forbidden
* Building or Condominium internal regulations must be fully respected
* Check-ins/outs outside of regular hours are subject to availability and if possible, incur in an equivalent amount of 60BRL in cash as compensation to the staff doing it, per event
* Bookings of length period from 15 nights or greater pay electricity bill as an extra
* Included cleaning covers reasonable usage, excess will be charged
* Rules breaches will be penalized by the full amount of security deposit, per event, plus any loss or fines and can result in eviction with no right to refunds.
